Elastic Trail Cursor Script by Philip Winston from Dynamic Drive >>> This bouncy mouse trailer script can either delight you or annoy you. You'll need to grab the blue bullet below and save it to your hard drive. Then upload the image to your Files directory. If you'd rather use another bullet, try Cool Archive.com (note: link to this site removed due to negative safety rating from McAfee SiteAdvisor). Just be sure to find a small bullet with a transparent background like that one. Or, you can probably use small icons instead. Only one graphic is required. Copy-and-paste the adjusted script as shown into the Insert HTML element. Changeable fields are shown in red type. The instructions say to put this immediately after the <BODY> tag. You cannot do that with SiteBuilder, but you can put the HTML element, minimized, out of the way in the top left corner. Make sure this element isn't overlapping another and upload the graphic to your File Manager.
Reminder: If you're not a Homestead web master, you can delete files/ in front of the graphic name in the script. It's only required if your pages and files are in separate directories and the files directory is named "files." If you have a separate "images" directory, as another example, the script should include "images/" in front of the graphic name. For everyone: If you have problems copying the script on the right, let me know and I can post a text file for you to download instead. Or you can go to Dynamic Drive and copy the script from their web page. Also a reminder that this script only works for visitors using the Internet Explorer browser. |
