I used FrontPage Express originally (edited in Namo WebEditor 6) to make this page in order to use a special font and to demonstrate how your browser sees this page. The font I used is Angie Pierced. It should look the same as the header above which I created in gif form in Paint Shop Pro. Do you see that font in these paragraphs? If you have the font installed on your computer or your default font on your browser is Angie Pierced, you will see this page as I created it. If you don't have this font installed on your computer and your default font is something else, that's what you'll see and so will everyone else. Can you imagine the enormity of the task, not to mention the rudeness, if you asked everyone to download the font you used just so they'd see your pages as you created them? They'd think the heck with you and go elsewhere, or they'd go on viewing your site just as their browser is set up. Also, some fonts are just too hard to view onscreen. That is why special or non-standard fonts are best used for text graphics in headers, navigation buttons, and the like created with graphics programs such as Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, or CorelDraw. If you don't have a graphics program, there are a few sites where you can create graphics for free using their collection of fonts. Three that I know of are CoolText, 3D Textmaker, and FlamingText. In Firefox click on View - Page Source; in I.E. click on View - Source. To see what fonts are available to you in your browser, in Firefox click on Tools - Options - Content - Fonts & Colors. In I.E. click on Tools - Internet Options - General tab - Appearance - Fonts. Angie Pierced is a freeware font created by Grey Wolf Web Works. You can find this font at 1001 Fonts
